Challenge.EU is one of the latest initiatives supported by city2science under the European Universities programme. The alliance unites nine higher education institutions across Europe with a shared vision: to tackle complex societal challenges through interdisciplinary research, education, and innovation. The alliance was officially selected for funding under the 2023 European Universities call by the European Commission and received a total of €8.64 million euros to support its implementation over the next four years.

Tailored Support for a Winning Proposal
city2science played a central role in the successful development of the Challenge.EU application.
