🚀 ChallengeEU Joins the European University Alliance Network 🚀

city2science is thrilled to announce that ChallengeEU – a groundbreaking new European University Alliance – has officially been launched in Offenburg on the 12th of March! We are joyfully celebrating this precious moment with the consortium, since we have supported the ChallengeEU Alliance throughout their successful application process.

This kick-off is even more remarkable for our team because ChallengeEU is the third alliance that city2science has supported – and all three applications have been successful. With a 100% success rate, city2science has firmly established itself as a key player in helping alliances secure their place in the increasingly competitive European University landscape.

🌟 A New Family Member in the European University Alliance Network

ChallengeEU brings together 9 universities from across Europe, representing a powerful network of 83,000 students and 9,000 staff members. Its wide geographical spread – from Offenburg to Lyon, Lisbon, Jelgava, Sundsvall, Windisch, Tetovo, Valencia, and Olsztyn – reflects the alliance’s commitment to tackling regional challenges through diverse perspectives and cross-border cooperation.

ChallengeEU is not just about academic collaboration; it’s about transforming the future of higher education by:
✔️ Moving from topic-driven to challenge-driven research and education
✔️ Bridging regions, disciplines, and sectors
✔️ Empowering students to drive societal impact
